Adverse Weather Arrangements

Typhoon and Rainstorm Guidelines

  1. Arrangements for rainstorms
  • While the rainstorm warning signal is in effect, the nursery will continue to operate as usual, and it is up to parents to return their child to the nursery at their own discretion.

  1. Arrangement of Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3
  • When Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3 is in effect, the nursery will continue to provide services as usual, and parents can decide whether to send their children back to the nursery or not.

  1. Knowing the arrangements for Typhoon Signal No. 8 to be hoisted
  • When it is known that the typhoon signal No. 8 is about to be hoisted, parents should take their children back as soon as possible; meanwhile, the nursery will arrange appropriate personnel to take care of them until all the children leave.

  1. Arrangements for Lowering of Typhoon Signal No. 8
  • When the typhoon signal is lowered below No. 8, the nursery will reopen within 1.5 hours, and appropriate staff will be arranged to provide services.
  • If the typhoon signal lower than No. 8 is lowered after 2:30 pm, the nursery will not resume operation on that day.
